The European Society of Specialty Mushroom Industry (ESSMI) is the European professional association for specialty mushroom producers. Our members include growers, researchers, consultants and technology providers from across Europe.
We aim to bring people together to create a strong continental network. Our members benefit from learning from each other and from the voice ESSMI has in the European Union and beyond.

ESSMI is a growing network. It started small around 20 years ago, but slowly and bottom-up, it is growing into the strong voice of the industry on the whole continent.
We currently represent more than 100 companies and research institutions from 12 countries – from the United Kingdom to Italy and from Spain to Poland – and the trend is rising.
